Please make sure that our server can install an authentication COOKIE (that's in our case a little text file stored in your browser temp directory, only including your IP address and we
need it to validate your member access with our secured login system, nothing less and nothing more). Beside a cookie, we also track valid member access directly by your IP
address but that is not working with AOL, T-Online and all other internet providers where you surf through a proxy surfer with continuously changing IP addresses. The cookie is the only way to validate you as member, then!!!
When you click the LOGIN link in the left navigation bar, we first tried to set a 'welcome' cookie just for testing your settings. If you have that cookie or the final cookie you get
after you logged in, you can TEST here.
If the test showed that you did not received our cookie, there is NEED for some browser re-configuration and possible some adjustments of possibly installed 'cookie washer' or 'internet
security' programs you might have installed and don't know what they are finally doing to your system. We simply start with to re-configure your browser. The choice of
browser is yours of course BUT we advise to use the new MS Internet Explorer 7. How to make the good settings to your browser is
following explained with screenshots from the new MS IE 7, step by step! MOST IMPORTANT TO START WITH IS NUMBER 1, THE COOKIE ISSUE!!!

browser language, we used a DUTCH BROWSER). IMPORTANT FOR US ARE THE 2 ABOVE CHAPTERS for 'TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES' and 'COOKIES'! CLICK THEM BOTH!

4)HOW AND BEST TO HANDLE COOKIES IN GENERAL
IF you don't want to order in a web shop or if there is no login protected area you want to enter, there is mostly now need to accept a cookie from a site. So, most of the cookies
can be denied and best you make your own choice which site you trust or not. In general, (my personal advise) I deny ALL cookies which are not corresponding with the site URL I am surfing on or just want to enter! This prevents from
all kind of tracking cookies from advertising programs where most sites are filled with. Following I let you know how you can get FULL control on your own cookie acceptance policy!
4a) CLICK IN MENU 'MS Internet Explorer 7' > SUB-MENU 'EXTRA'

4b) CLICK ON 'INTERNET OPTIONS' IN THE 'EXTRA' PULL DOWN MENU

4c) CLICK TAB 'PRIVACY' and then CLICK THE BUTTON 'ADVANCED'

4c) SIMPLY MAKE THE SAME SETTINGS as I show you with the next window screenshot, click OK and you are the master
of any future cookies! Now you can deny a single cookie for 1 time or every singly cookie for all times. Same way you can allow cookies now. If you need to re-check if a certain cookie is blocked or not, you can go back to
Chapter 1 to see again how to do that!
MORE PRACTICAL ADVISE
WE AT BOYSTATION ACCEPT MOST COMMON BROWSER IN STANDARD INSTALLATION SETTING. CHANGING SETTINGS IN THE SECURITY OR PRIVACY TO HIGH LEVELS MOSTLY WILL BE SOURCE OF HIGH IRRITATION
WHILE SURFING AROUND. THE BEST SECURITY IS SIMPLY USING YOUR MIND, ALWAYS LOOKING WHAT'S GOING ON WHILE CLICKING AROUND AND AS MORE THINGS HAPPEN ON A SITE WHICH YOU DON'T LIKE OR TRUST, USE THAT AS REASON TO LEAVE AS FAST AS
POSSIBLE!
AOL browser comes with problematic configuration. Don't use it but instead, install the standard MS Internet Explorer 7. Don't let AOL make the decisions for you. The standard
AOL setting will not let you use a standard login system as we use it here to protect our member area.
- Pop Up Blocker can make the usage of our slideshow impossible while it works similar to a pop up command.
Internet Security Programs mostly produce MUCH MORE PROBLEMS on your computer then you like. We call that money making overprotection, followed by nightmares even possible
after you have de-installed these program, they still run partially on your machine, can cause problems while installing software. It's like a virus, you never get rid of it once you have it but lot's of companies are living
very well with your fear of getting an infection. It's like the medical industry. Make fear and sell the cure :)
If YOU REALLY THINK YOU NEED A PERSONAL FIREWALL on your system, like Norton Internet Security .... here a little story:
I had Norton IS 2005 installed on my machine, due to allot of trouble I de-installed it 2 weeks later and swore NEVER, NEVER to install anything from this company again. Oh, did that same swore already 5 years before but
became week of all these superb promises and again the FEAR:). Ok, I did de-install it and last week I had to install the HP Office Jet 7300 Software. You don't believe it, the de-installed Norton Internet Security was still
on my computer (with it's core program) and prevented the installation of this network printer. I had to re-install the entire Norton software, had to grab a REMOVAL from the Norton website (standard re-move was not good
enough) to get finally rid of the NIS2005 core and to become able to complete the HP software installation. It cost me finally several hours to locate the problem to find a solution and to do all the necessary steps until I
cleaned my machine and finished the new software installation for the HP network printer. Trouble, trouble, trouble....you get a lot of trouble using this kind of 'protection'. I call them trouble MAKERS! All that
pretty experienced user. What kind of stress must people get who don't know anything from the running and doing of their computers ³€³³}}}€}@\]²³
So, simply use the Windows Firewall option, go for a good working Anti Virus Program....and again, I can't advise the big guys like Norton, McAf.. etc but since 2 years I am
using a German product which is doing a great job on my machine, using 2 different engines, outbreak shield and immediate virus signature update when there are new ones (which is continuously). Please check AntiVirenKit2007
from GData, there is an English version too but same here, ONLY go for the ANTI VIRUS and NOT for the INTERNET SECURITY!!!!
